Latonya Auzenne WeFi
For those ready to see a different way to build wealth.
I'm Latonya. WeFi is how my family and I are building generational wealth and real financial freedom — and I'm sharing it with the people ready to see the light.
Why I'm sharing this
For most of us, the old banking system was never really built with our families in mind. We were taught to keep our money somewhere we don't control, and to wait for permission to build something lasting.
WeFi is the first thing I've found that puts ownership and freedom back in our hands — the chance to build something that can outlast us. I'm not here to hype anyone or rush anyone. I'm here for the people who can feel that the way money works is changing, and who want to understand it early, with someone they trust walking beside them.
In plain language
Let me explain it the way I wish someone had explained it to me — in plain words. WeFi is an on-chain deobanking platform — a "deobank," their word for it — built on its own blockchain, WeChain. Here's what that actually means for you and me:
Your money lives in a wallet that only you control, secured by distributed custody. There's no branch, no gatekeeper, and no one who can freeze you out or tell you no. For once, the account answers to you — not the other way around.
Get paid from anywhere, hold your money in stable dollars or euros, and move it across the world in seconds instead of days — without the fees and the waiting the old system always seemed to charge people like us.
Spend your balance anywhere cards are accepted. Your money stays in your own on-chain wallet right up until you tap to pay — so you keep true ownership and still grab your morning coffee. That's the whole point: freedom you can actually use.
A built-in exchange made for everyday people, not traders. Convert between currencies and digital assets in a tap, set a little of every paycheck to save automatically, or move into something steadier when the markets get noisy — all from one dashboard.
Need cash but don't want to give up what you're building? You can borrow against your own assets and keep your position — and your standing is built on your real activity, not a credit score that was never designed with our families in mind.
WeFi gives back to the people who actually use it — everyday activity like spending can earn you WFI, the token that runs the whole ecosystem. I'll always be honest with you: rewards vary from person to person, and like anything in crypto, value can rise or fall. It's a bonus, never a promise.
Deobanking built for a borderless, digital world — and built so you stay in control. (Some features roll out by region as the rules in each country allow.)
The honest comparison
| Traditional bank | WeFi deobank | |
|---|---|---|
| Who holds your money | The bank holds your funds | You hold your own assets |
| Transparency | Opaque internal ledgers | Public blockchain ledger |
| Sending money abroad | Days, with high fees | In seconds, very low cost |
| Compliance | Centralized and slow | Programmable and automated |
| Card access | Traditional rails only | A card on new on-chain rails |
A comparison of how the systems work — not a promise of any financial outcome.
Who's behind it
Before I ever tell someone I love about WeFi, I needed to know who's actually building it — and that's a big part of why I felt safe leaning in. The team comes from the companies that built modern money on the internet: Tether, Visa, Wise, Binance, and Bybit.
The chairman, Reeve Collins, co-founded Tether — the largest stablecoin in the world. The people running payments and growth came from Visa and Binance. And everyone's assets are secured by Fireblocks, the same institutional-grade custody technology trusted across the industry.
Their mission is the part that won me over: take the old, gatekept banking model and rebuild it into something smarter, more transparent, and far more inclusive — because they believe access to the global economy is a basic human right, not a privilege for a lucky few. That's a future I want my family standing inside of.
Hear it from the source
Don't just take it from me. Here's WeFi's co-founder — the same person who co-founded Tether — explaining what they're building and why.
Why me, why now
I'll be honest with you. There have been moments in my life where I could feel a change happening before most people did — and I hesitated. I told myself I needed more proof, more time, more permission. Those moments taught me something I carry now: when you can clearly see where the world is heading, waiting has a cost too.
This is one of those moments for me. Not hype, not a get-rich story — a real shift in how money and ownership work, and a chance to understand it early and bring the people I love along with me, instead of explaining later why I waited. That's exactly why I'm sharing it the way I am: openly, honestly, and only with people I'd genuinely want beside me.
If you're someone who can feel it too — who sees the light in this — I'd love to walk you through it at your pace. No pressure, no rush. Just one person who's paying attention, talking to another.
Who this is for
How to begin
Start by learning. Explore the platform, watch how it works, and ask me anything — no question is too small.
Do your own research. Never put money anywhere on excitement alone. Understand it first, then decide for yourself.
Start small. Only ever begin with an amount you're genuinely comfortable with.
Build at your own pace. There's no rush and no pressure here — just an open door and someone in your corner.
Ready?
If something in you is curious, that's enough to start a conversation. No pressure — just an open door, and someone who's walking the same path.
